What is the dress code?
Semi-formal. Think cocktail dresses and suits.
Do you have a gift registry?
Your presence is the only gift we wish for. Please do not feel obliged to bring anything.
Are children welcome?
This will be an adults-only celebration. We hope you understand.
How do I enter the ceremony venue?
Please arrive by 3:45 pm as the ceremony will begin at 4:00 pm. Enter via the side entrance of the Registrars department on Chelsea Manor Street and go straight upstairs to the ceremony waiting area.
Is there parking at the ceremony venue?
There is no allocated parking at Chelsea Old Town Hall. We therefore recommend that you arrive either by taxi or by public transport. If you do need to drive, there is parking available at Sloane Square Car Park near the venue, or at Fulham Reach (the development where we live, which has paid underground parking).
Can I take photos during the ceremony?
No. We have hired a photographer to capture the day, so we kindly ask that phones and cameras are put away during the ceremony. You are very welcome to take photos at the reception.
What happens after the ceremony?
We will take group photographs on the stairs at the Town Hall. Afterwards, the two of us will have some couple portraits taken nearby before heading to Daphne’s. In the meantime, please feel free to make your way to the reception at your own pace.
How do I get from the ceremony to the reception?
Daphne’s is a 15-minute walk from Chelsea Old Town Hall, or a short cab ride.
How will dinner choices and dietary requirements be handled?
